AEFUTH announces admission into the newly accredited Post Basic Nursing programmes. The following courses are officially approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria, and it include:

1. Meet O’Level Requirements: Secure at least five credits in two sittings or less from examinations like WAEC, NECO, or GCE· These credits should cover English, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

2. Be a Registered Nurse: Must have registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

3. Have a Valid License: Maintain an active practicing license.

2. Pay the Fee: Click on “make payment” to get a Remita invoice and pay the application fee.

3. Activate Your Account: After payment, send your proof of payment through WhatsApp to 08169634390 or 0703608836 to activate your profile.

4. Complete Your Application: Go back to the portal, fill out your application, and print your exam slip· This slip tells you when and where to go for the exam.

History of AEFUTHA

Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital, located in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, was originally known as Federal Medical Centre, Abakaliki.

It was upgraded to a teaching hospital in 2011, when it was renamed to honor Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Nigeria’s former Vice President, who was known for his contributions to the education and health sectors.
